Undefeated Westfield girls soccer secured its second straight Union County Tournament title with a 2–0 win over Cranford, scoring twice in the first half and controlling the game on both ends of the field. The Blue Devils relied on disciplined defense, steady goalkeeping and an aggressive, team-oriented attack that emphasized playing for each other—especially injured teammates who couldn’t take the field. Head coach Alex Schmidt credited the win to preparation and execution, noting the team had studied Cranford and stuck to its game plan.
