Westfield’s boys soccer team delivered a dramatic finish in the Union County Tournament’s second round on Oct. 17, outlasting Union in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 tie through two overtime periods. Reean Dias, Jakub Kotowicz, and William Yenawine each scored for the Blue Devils, while Beckett Johnson and Ryan Gibbons contributed assists. Goalkeeper Lucas Rosario made four saves, and Westfield converted all five shootout attempts to Union’s four to secure its place in the next round.
