Westfield High School’s girls hockey team opened the 2025 season with a 10–3 win over Cranford on Dec. 5. Westfield jumped out early and maintained control throughout the game, using balanced scoring and sustained offensive pressure. Senior Lauren Delaney (#7) led the Blue Devils with four goals and two assists, while senior Hannah Gold (#48) added two goals and one assist. Cranford Jaycees Spread Holiday Cheer with Santa Deliveries & Toy Drive

Last month, the Cranford Jaycees once again brought holiday magic to the community with their annual Santa Deliveries & Toy Drive. The beloved tradition, run in partnership with the Cranford Police and Fire Departments, invited residents to drop off unwrapped toy donations as well as wrapped gifts for Santa to deliver right to children’s homes. Cranford Knights of Columbus Council # 6226 Supported the 2025 Franciscan Annual Coat Drive The Cranford Knights of Columbus Council # 6226 recently supported the 2025 Franciscan Charities Fall Coat Drive in Newark, led by Brother Keith Santulli. Over several weeks, Brother Knight volunteers collected, sorted, and delivered hundreds of articles of clothing donated by St. Michael’s Church parishioners, with over 15 contractor-sized bags of donations in total. Easily 300+ calories, sometimes moThe Westfield College Men’s Club (CMC) has announced that tickets are still available for its 23rd annual Boxing Night fundraiser, which is set for Friday, February 6th. Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the first fight should commence at 7:30 pm. Westfield Teens Lead “Sticker Shock” Campaign to Curb Underage Drinking

This holiday season, Westfield teens took the lead in raising awareness about underage drinking through the “Sticker Shock” campaign. The Westfield Youth Peer Leadership Group partnered with House of Wine & Liquor on North Avenue and ShopRite Wines & Spirits on South Avenue East to remind adults of the legal consequences of providing alcohol to minors.
