Cranford’s Rosenmeier Earns Coach of the Week Honor

A double-overtime victory kept Cranford’s unbeaten start intact last month, and head coach Erik Rosenmeier had another reason to celebrate: recognition as the New York Jets High School Coach of the Week, according to the announcement shared with the magazine.

Rosenmeier has led Cranford’s football program since 2005, spending more than two decades on the Cougars’ sideline.

Cranford defeated Montgomery 13-12 at home on Oct. 2, needing two overtime periods to secure the victory and improve to 5-0. The one-point finish provided a memorable chapter in the Cougars’ fall season.

The coaching honor gives Cranford’s players, staff, and supporters another accomplishment to celebrate alongside that hard-fought victory.
