Ends Season Undefeated

TEAM PLAYERS ARE: Skylar Abrams, Adalena Blankenship, Sienna Benanti, Reese Clarke, Kiera Evangelista, Sophia Corcoran, Morgan Markle, Hailey Taylor, Gemma Rapuano, Maya Redding, and Victoria Walsh.

The seventh-grade Westfield girls basketball team has completed another undefeated season, topped with another seventh-grade championship. They beat Wayne in the championship for a second year in a row to win their fourth consecutive championship. What might be even more impressive than four straight is a 73-1 record over those years in the Jersey Basketball League.

The highlight of the year was not just winning the seventh-grade championship but winning the championship of an eighth-grade league they play in, as well. This championship game was a much tougher battle, yet the girls were able to pull off the victory over the highly talented eighth-grade AAU team, Jersey Shore Thunder.
