Garden Club of Westfield

Welcomes Spring Downtown

By Rosemary Shire, The Garden Club of Westfield

The Garden Club of Westfield welcomed spring with the annual planting of spring blossoms in the sidewalk planters on the corners of Elm and East Broad Streets on April 2.
In addition to a colorful assortment of pansies, the planters are crowned with pussy willows and maroon hellebores. A variety of stock, some white alyssum, and a trailing yellow pansy complete each container.

Thanks to Home Depot for donating many of the plants and to Dreyer Farms for their kind contribution, as well. For further information, please contact the Garden Club of Westfield at gardenclubofwestfield@gmail.com and visit the Garden Club of Westfield on Facebook.
