The Summit Playhouse Presents Jean-Paul Sartre’s No Exit

The Summit Playhouse continues its 2026 season with a chilling production of Jean-Paul Sartre’s landmark one-act play, No Exit. First performed in 1944, Sartre’s existential masterpiece takes place entirely in a single, claustrophobic room in Hell. There, three deceased strangers confront the terrifying realization that their eternal punishment is not fire or torture—but each other.

As the characters’ hidden sins and true natures are revealed, the play builds to a haunting conclusion: “Hell is other people.”
