We are a Cranford-based curbside garbage can and dumpster cleaning company, one of the first in the state. Our company services residents and businesses in Union, Somerset, Morris, and Essex Counties, keeping their garbage cans and containers clean and fresh with no hassle and no mess.

The way our service works is simple. We show up on your collection day so that the cans are empty, our truck lifts the cans up and sprays the inside and outside with 200 degree hot water at high pressure, we collect that dirty water and recycle it safely in accordance with NJDEP guidelines, and then we walk your clean cans back up next to your property.

Our customers love the simplicity (since we come on collection day, they don’t have to do anything) and the affordability (a quarterly service for most people is no more than the cost of 2 pizzas). And of course they love having clean cans that smell fresh and aren’t terrifying to touch. We have been in business since 2023 and are owned and operated by myself and my brother Victor.

You bring a unique experience in this field. Please tell us a bit about yourself/family and your own path to success.

I moved to Cranford about 10 years ago with my now wife. A few years ago, she was on my case about cleaning our garbage cans which were an absolute mess. At the time, I had been thinking a lot about starting my own service business and just hadn’t landed on the right idea.

Those two things kind of came together and once I did a bit more research, I learned how common our industry is in places like the UK, Florida, and Texas. I didn’t hesitate on who I wanted to partner with and called my brother Victor immediately who was in from the first phone call.

We’ve now been in business for over two years and have been blown away by the support and interest from the local communities and other business owners.

We weren’t sure if people would be into the concept and the feedback has turned out to be very fantastic. Regarding my family, I live in Cranford with my wife Jessica and two young boys aged 6 and 2 (yeah, I started the business with a newborn on the way, thankfully Jessica forgave me and my brother was also here to help during that busy time). My brother and business partner Victor lives just down the road in Garwood.

What are some of the ways your company can help the residents?

Our service is designed to remove a smelly and unflattering chore from your life for an affordable price without adding any associated administrative work. You tell us how many cans you want cleaned and what the pickup days are, we do the rest, without you needing to be home for service.

Our subscription services (quarterly, monthly) are about 70-80% of our customer base who love that they can “set it and forget it” and just come home to clean cans. We also perform professional dumpster cleaning services which is a popular service for restaurant and shop owners, property managers, etc…

What is unique about your business? Why should residents choose you to provide your service?

We take a lot of pride in the ease of use of our service, but a key piece of that is the clear communication our customers feel they get from us. They get appointment reminders via text and email before service so that they know we’re coming (but don’t need to be home), and a before/after photo for every job. We pick up the phone when you call, and we resolve issues quickly.

Something we love to do when given the opportunity is IF you do happen to be home with your kids during the service, we try to let the kids push the buttons that lift the cans up over our truck, it’s always such a thrill for them and definitely one of our favorite parts of owning the business.

What are some latest trends and/or news our residents should know?

I think it’s important to remember that beyond just the smell of a dirty can that may attract pests, there is an important health element to it also. Our dirty garbage cans are a breeding ground for bacteria which we do touch and breathe in when dealing with them.

One other thing that not everyone considers is that cleaning your own cans with some soap and a hose in the driveway can be partially effective, but the water runoff from that would end up in our streams and waterways. We have a customer in Cranford who lives next to the river and is big on our service because she knows we safely collect and dispose of the water run off.

What can our local residents expect when they work with you and your company?

We think it’s simple. We take pride in our work, we pay attention to the details, and we pick up the phone when you call.

What towns and counties do you cover? Is it a subscription service?

Union County, many parts of Morris, Somerset, Essex, and Middlesex counties. We offer three residential service types: Monthly, Quarterly, and a One Time Cleaning. The majority of our customers are on Quarterly subscription services, while some prefer the monthly frequency or the flexibility of the one time clean.

You pride yourselves on becoming involved in the community. Tell us about it?

We live in the area, have built our families here, and our kids attend school in town, so naturally we have a lot of pride and care for these communities. We do our best to attend or sponsor as many local events and organizations as we can. That includes everything from school plays to fundraisers to youth sports teams.

Beyond that, we have gotten to know so many local business owners through the business community (chambers of commerce, etc…) and try to keep as much of our own investments into the business locally (advertising partners, maintenance on our equipment, etc…)
