The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, Realtors Summit Regional Office is once again rallying behind a cause close to its heart: supporting the Sunshine Kids Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy and memorable experiences to children undergoing cancer treatment.

The Summit office, which has consistently led its region in fundraising for the foundation, will host its Annual Ballroom Dance Theater Show on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at Dolan Hall at St. Elizabeth University in Morristown. This year’s theme, “The Dance Machine Show,” will feature Pro-Am dancers of all ages and skill levels performing a wide range of styles, including waltz, foxtrot, salsa, swing, and hip hop. Get Preservation Answers at “Ask The HPC” Event, May 8

In celebration of National Preservation Month, the Westfield Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) will host an informal open house on Thursday, May 8, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Local History Room of the Westfield Memorial Library, 550 E. Broad Street. WHS Students Recognized by National Merit and College Board Programs

Westfield High School 12th grader Garrett Gao has advanced as a finalist in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program, having met academic and other standards to become eligible for scholarships. The selection of 7,100 Merit Scholarship winners from the group of more than 15,000 finalists nationwide is now in progress with scholarship winners and National Merit Scholars to be announced over the next few months. At the 33rd High School Choir Invitational on March 29, the Westfield High School Choraleers were awarded Grand Champion in the Pop/Show/Jazz category, placing 1st out of seven choirs in their division with a Gold rating.
