College Men’s & Women’s Clubs Announce Highest GPA Awards

The Westfield Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Trustees: Kristina Catlin, Alex Liu, and Laura Skidmore. Collectively, they bring extensive experience in finance, law, nonprofit leadership, and community service that will help advance the Foundation’s mission of fostering positive change and elevating Westfield and the surrounding communities.

The Foundation also announced its 2026 Executive Committee:

  • Michelle Habayeb, President
  • Glen Dumont, Vice President
  • David Collum, Treasurer
  • Michael Moye, Secretary

In addition, the Westfield Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing trustees, including outgoing Board President Bob John, Lou Magrone, and Gretchan Ohlig, for their years of dedicated service and leadership. Their contributions helped guide the Foundation through a period of significant growth, including the development of a strategic plan, operational enhancements, and expanded community impact.

“The Foundation’s ability to serve as a catalyst for change depends on strong leadership, thoughtful stewardship, and deep community engagement,” said Michelle Habayeb, incoming President of The Westfield Foundation Board of Trustees. “We are excited to welcome Kristina, Alex, and Laura to the Board and look forward to building on the Foundation’s long history of community impact.”

Kristina Catlin recently retired from a distinguished career in commercial lending, having held positions at Credit Suisse, CIT Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America. A Westfield resident for nearly 30 years, she has volunteered with numerous local organizations and currently serves as Chair of the Board of the Westfield Area YMCA after more than 15 years of service. She also serves on the Memorial Endowment Trust at St. Paul’s Church.

Alex Liu is a retired product management executive with decades of leadership experience in the fintech, banking, and payments industries. His career included senior roles at Fiserv, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, MasterCard, and First Data. A graduate of Brown University, Liu currently serves as Treasurer of the Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library and is actively involved in the Westfield community.

Laura Skidmore has dedicated her career to public service and currently serves as a Managing Attorney for the New York City Department of Education, specializing in special education law. She previously worked in elder law for the New York City Department of Social Services. A Westfield resident for the past decade, Skidmore is a co-founder of Project Playground and has served in leadership roles at both Franklin and Lincoln schools. She is also co-chair of the Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library’s annual spring book sale, serves on the Franklin School PTO, and volunteers as a guide runner with Achilles International.

Since 1975, The Westfield Foundation has supported nonprofit organizations and expanded opportunities through strategic grants and scholarships that strengthen Westfield and surrounding communities. Guided by its vision of creating a vibrant, inclusive community through purposeful investments in education, the arts, community development, and health and social services, the Foundation remains committed to fostering collaboration, addressing emerging needs, and creating lasting community impact.
