Local Community Unites at Siya Smiles Pickleball & Red Ball Tennis Fun Day

On a bright and beautiful Sunday morning at Tamaques Park, more than 50 players, countless volunteers and families came together to honor the memory of Siya Singla. The Westfield community showed up in every sense of the word.

On a bright and beautiful Sunday morning at Tamaques Park, more than 50 players, countless volunteers, and families came together to honor the memory of Siya Singla. The Westfield community showed up in every sense of the word.

The inaugural Siya Smiles Pickleball & Red Ball Tennis Fun Day, held June 7, was organized through the Siya Smiles Foundation, established by Siya’s parents, Ashima and Amit Singla.

Siya was a student at Franklin Elementary and Edison Intermediate School, a member of the Westfield Gifted and Talented Program, an artist, singer, dancer, and fierce tennis competitor who reached the top 20 in New Jersey for her grade.
