What’s Up Summit!

April in Summit delivered a vibrant stretch of community energy, blending history, civic pride, and celebration across generations.

The city’s participation in the nation’s 250th anniversary came to life with Revolutionary Trail Day, a town-wide, immersive experience featuring reenactments, student performances, music, and hands-on activities that highlighted Summit’s role in the American Revolution.

Just days earlier, the Summit Showcase opened the doors of local government, inviting residents inside the firehouse to connect with first responders and city departments in an interactive, family-friendly setting.

Adding to the month’s momentum, Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child continued its centennial celebration, marking 100 years of faith, education, and community impact with events bringing together students, alumnae, and families in a reflection on its enduring legacy.

Together, these moments captured the spirit of Summit in April — a community deeply rooted in history, actively engaged in the present, and proudly celebrating milestones both local and national.
