Community Night Returns to Summit on July 22 as Part of Summer Concert Series

The City of Summit’s Department of Community Programs has announced that its annual Community Night will take place Tuesday, July 22, on the Village Green at 356 Broad Street. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is part of the ongoing 2025 Hot Summer Nights Concert Series.

Community Night provides a platform for local non-profit organizations to share information about their work with the public. Participating groups can begin setting up at 5 p.m. and must be ready to welcome attendees by 5:45 p.m. Each organization is allowed one table (up to eight feet long), and 10-foot-by-10-foot pop-up tents are permitted. Fundraising is not allowed during the event.

Department of Community Programs staff will be on hand to assist with setup.

Following the community showcase, the band Steppin’ Out will perform at 7 p.m. as part of the city’s weekly Tuesday night concert series. The full 2025 lineup for the Hot Summer Nights Concert Series includes:
