Where/why did you get your pet?

We got Cody from a breeder in Connecticut. During the COVID pandemic, we thought that since we were all home, it would be a great time to get a dog. It turned out to be the best decision ever.

Anything special or unusual about your pet?

Anytime we come home, Cody will greet us at the door with a sock, hat, shoe, or anything he can find.  This is his way of showing us love.

Any funny stories? 

Cody is a big baby. We have to carry him inside the veterinarian’s office or groomer. Can you imagine carrying an 85-pound dog? He will also cry the whole way there so we have to sing him a song which soothes him.  We always laugh about our trips to the vet and groomer!

What do you like best about your pet? 

We love the fact that Cody is so loving and playful. He loves getting attention from us ALL OF THE TIME. Cody has to be the center of attention and right in the middle of the action. He loves playing with other dogs, so we take him on doggie playdates. He truly is the best dog ever.

How has the pet enriched your life?  

Cody has been a great addition to our family. We love going on long walks, hikes, and trips to the park to play fetch. He loves watching the kids at their sporting events or just hanging home and spending time with us.  Cody has renewed our love for the outdoors and an appreciation for the smaller things in life.
