The Cranford Knights of Columbus Council # 6226 recently supported the 2025 Franciscan Charities Fall Coat Drive in Newark, led by Brother Keith Santulli. Over several weeks, Brother Knight volunteers collected, sorted, and delivered hundreds of articles of clothing donated by St. Michael’s Church parishioners, with over 15 contractor-sized bags of donations in total.

Last year, one individual we support, Yasin, celebrated ten years with Community Access Unlimited (CAU). At 33 years old, he is a gifted artist, writer and advocate. Yasin recently completed a memoir titled “Life is Not Roses” in which he bravely shared his story as a young person with disabilities, growing up in a challenging family environment. His memoir highlights the challenges he faced and insightful reflections on getting through difficult times and various other themes such as his experiences at the Special Olympics.

This holiday season, Westfield teens took the lead in raising awareness about underage drinking through the “Sticker Shock” campaign. The Westfield Youth Peer Leadership Group partnered with House of Wine & Liquor on North Avenue and ShopRite Wines & Spirits on South Avenue East to remind adults of the legal consequences of providing alcohol to minors.
