Grand Opening Week Celebrations at Cranford YMCA Culminates with Open House Event on Saturday, April 27

The Cranford YMCA, a partnership between the Township of Cranford and the Westfield Area YMCA, is thrilled to announce its grand opening week which will culminate in an Open House event on April 27, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Festivities will kick off with a ribbon cutting on April 23, including the unveiling of the renovated main locker rooms and changing areas, which were the final pieces in the transformation of the facility’s interior.

Throughout the week, the Cranford YMCA will offer special perks for members and those who join, as well as giveaways and other activities. Anyone is welcome to come take a tour of the facility and receive a “Try the Y” pass for 7-day access to the facility for free.

The community is invited to the free Open House on April 27, which will be a fun-filled celebration for all ages, featuring carnival games in the pool, arts & crafts, refreshments, prizes, and more. It’s a great opportunity for families, seniors, and adults to explore the fresh facility and discover the wide range of programs and services offered by the Cranford YMCA.

The new Cranford YMCA is located at 401 Centennial Avenue, the site of the former Cranford Pool and Fitness Center. Significant improvements include new pool filtration, chemical feed, pump, and UV systems, as well as renovated main locker rooms, a new multipurpose space, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
