That’s shaped how I connect with others today. After Middlesex High School, I went down to Clemson and studied Finance and Accounting. I started my career at Deloitte as a tax consultant, which was a great experience and gave me a really strong foundation. But quickly, I realized I wanted something more relationship-driven. I missed the people side of things—I wanted to be in a role where I could work directly with clients and see the impact I was making.
That’s what led me to the Snyder Group. Joining Mike and Dave was a great fit because it’s exactly that kind of environment—very relationship-focused, very client-first. It’s been a natural transition and something I’ve really enjoyed being a part of.

“It’s not just about doing business; it’s about building real, long-term relationships.”

What attracted you to join the Snyder Group, and how did the opportunity come about?
My connection to the Snyder Group goes back years—my family has worked with Mike for about 25 years. They always spoke highly of him, not just professionally but personally. Over time, I’d stay in touch with Mike, ask him questions about the industry, and pick his brain as I got more interested in finance. After a lot of conversations, we decided it made sense for me to make the move from Deloitte and join the team.

As a new member of the team, what has your experience been like so far?
It’s been a great experience, but definitely a challenging one—in a good way. Mike and Dave were upfront that starting in this industry isn’t easy, and they were right. But having their support has made all the difference. Since joining, I’ve been able to build a solid client base and grow quickly, and a lot of that comes from their guidance and how invested they are in helping me succeed.

The Snyder Group has strong ties to Cranford—how has working with partners who live in the community shaped your perspective?
Working with partners who live in the Cranford community really gives me a deeper appreciation for how connected everything is. It’s not just where they work—it’s where they live, raise their families, and stay involved day to day. That perspective carries over into how we serve our clients.

Even without having grown up in Cranford, how have you gotten to know the area through your team and clients?
Without living in Cranford, I have gotten to know the area well. Between meeting local clients and going to help Mike and Dave’s kids play sports, I am in the area often. A couple of local spots I enjoy are Track 5, The Hotel, and my favorite, Vinny’s.

What stands out to you about the Cranford community and the people your team serves?
One thing that always stands out to me is Mike and Dave’s family—there are 12 siblings, all from Cranford, and they all still live there. That says a lot. It really feels like one big family, and it’s the kind of place I could see myself ending up down the road.

What does your role at the Snyder Group involve, and how do you contribute to serving clients?
My role at the Snyder Group is focused on helping deliver a thoughtful, high-quality experience for our clients. I work closely with the team to understand each client’s financial goals and assist in developing and implementing strategies that align with where they want to go.
I’m involved in everything from preparing for client meetings to supporting the ongoing planning process, making sure we’re staying proactive as circumstances change. Just as importantly, I focus on building strong relationships, being a reliable point of contact and helping ensure clients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in the decisions they’re making.

What are you most focused on learning and building as you begin your career in this field?
Right now, I’m really focused on continuing to build my knowledge and expand my ability to serve clients at a high level. I recently earned my CRPC designation, which has strengthened my ability to help clients make more confident, informed decisions as they plan for their financial futures. Going forward, I’m committed to pursuing additional designations like that and continuing to grow both technically and professionally, so I can provide even more value to the people I work with.

Looking ahead, what excites you most about growing with a team that has such a strong presence in Cranford?
What excites me most is really the people in the Cranford community. They’re some of the best clients I’ve had the chance to work with; there’s a strong sense of trust and connection, and that makes a big difference. It’s not just about doing business; it’s about building real, long-term relationships. Being part of a team that already has such a strong presence in Cranford gives me the opportunity to build on that foundation and continue what Mike and Dave have built, while adding my own impact over time.

Email: Jared.Venutolo@ampf.com
Phone Number: 732-383-2290
Facebook: jared.venutolo.3

The Snyder Group has built its reputation on relationships, trust, and deep roots in the Cranford community.
