Two of the hospitals (Morristown and Overlook) continued their streak of \u2018A\u2019 Grade marks extending back numerous years. Morristown Medical Center has maintained an \u2018A\u2019 Grade since Fall 2015 and Overlook Medical Center has been a consistent \u2018A\u2019 since Spring 2021.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center continues to make significant strides in improving its Leapfrog score as data for current years is added to the Leapfrog evaluation process and was recognized with an improved \u2018B\u2019 Grade as it continues trending towards top level performance.<\/p>\n

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade stands as the only hospital ratings program focused solely on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries that kill more than 500 patients a day in the United States. This program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.<\/p>\n
