Community spirit was on full display as more than 1,000 residents gathered at Union College on October 11 for the Cranford Jaycees\u2019 11th annual Oktoberfest fundraiser. The lively evening featured local food trucks, live music, and plenty of festive brews \u2014 all in the name of giving back.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s celebration raised more than $45,000 to support local causes, including the Cranford First Aid Squad. A portion of the proceeds also went to the Cranford Family Care fund, benefiting the families of Isabella Salas and Maria Niotis.<\/p>\n
Organizers said the event\u2019s continued success highlights Cranford\u2019s strong sense of community and generosity. \u201cEach year, Oktoberfest brings people together not just for fun, but for a purpose,\u201d one Jaycees representative noted. \u201cIt\u2019s incredible to see neighbors rally around such meaningful causes.\u201d<\/p>\n
