When she needed to fulfill an internship requirement for graduation, she turned to the Y, knowing of their wide range of volunteer opportunities. She landed an internship in the marketing department that aligned well with her field of study.<\/p>\n<p>Alicia was offered a part-time marketing position after completing her internship, all while continuing to work as a SACC counselor and finishing her degree. Alicia continued to grow with the Y and seamlessly transitioned into a full-time role upon graduation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe YMCA has been instrumental in kickstarting my career,\u201d Alicia says. \u201cI\u2019m so grateful for the chance to learn and grow here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Y provides opportunities to explore career pathways and find your potential\u2013all while making a positive impact in the lives of those around you.
